The Captain Meow design keeps these recognizable Boom Slingers features: orange tabby cat head with pointed dark ears and one black eyepatch. This newly drawn interpretation pairs the game character with a separate cutlass for ordinary navigation. The accessory is a short ordinary pirate cutlass, curved steel blade tip upper left, brass guard and brown grip lower right. Its natural shape gives the main cursor a clear active end, while the character appears when hovering over links. The two illustrations form an original thematic pairing; the accessory is not presented as exclusive equipment or a canonical possession of this character.
